This is an excellent and informative book for anyone wishing to move from OO guage to EM / Scalefour . Iain Rice's book contains clear instructions and has a wealth of illustrative drawings and sequential photographs to guide the first time finescale modeller through the process of track building. A list of tools, component and suppliers are given as well as the reasons for the procedures. Mr Rice's style is clear and informative. I found the book invaluble in planning my railway; an invaluable resource for the 'Finescale' modeller. First class.

This is an excellent book for anyone wishing to move to EM or Scalefour from OO scale. It gives a step by step guide to the process of track-building in finescale with many illustrations and photographs to back up the text. Suppliers are listed and the processes are clearly defined backed up by an excellent glossary of technical terms. An outstanding and practical guide.
